The Beer

Our partnership with Time and Tide Brewing is something we’re thrilled about. Since we started working with them in 2019, they’ve created an impressive range of 15 Deal Hop Farm beers, using our carefully cultivated Prima Donna hops. These beers are sold in cask and cans across Kent and London, in pubs, cafes, and off licenses, and have been well received by our members and local ale enthusiasts. Time and Tide are passionate about producing exciting beers, and this enthusiasm shines through in the quality of their brews.

Our first brew in 2017 was produced by Ripple Steam Artisan Brewery. This green-hopped beer utilized our Prima Donna hops straight from picking, without drying them first. The resulting 4.8% Green Hop Pale Ale showcased the hops beautifully, with a clean, hazy pale ale featuring a lovely floral and citrus aroma, hints of spice, and a well-balanced bitterness. Ripple Steam was incredibly supportive of our growing community farm, but unfortunately closed in 2019.
