The Beer

We’re thrilled to partner with local Kentish brewers, who use our homegrown hops to create exceptional beers. Chilset, located just outside Canterbury, has crafted ‘Captain’s Garden’—a light, Kentish pale ale with floral notes and hints of subtle marmalade. They also offer ‘Lakes View,’ a sessionable Kentish best bitter with a balanced malt body.

We’re equally delighted to collaborate with Shivering Sands Brewery in Manston. Their green hop ale, ‘Castle Pale,’ has a crisp 4.5% ABV, while ‘Timeball Bitter,’ another excellent brew, also showcases our locally grown hops and is well rated amongst bitter enthusiasts!

We have an ongoing  partnership with Time and Tide Brewing, who, since 2019, have crafted 15 beers from our Prima Donna hops, available across Kent and London. Their dedication to quality shines through each brew, loved by members and local ale fans alike. Our brewing journey began in 2017 with Ripple Steam Artisan Brewery, who used our fresh, green hops for a unique, floral Green Hop Pale Ale. Ripple Steam supported our community farm until their closure in 2019, leaving a lasting legacy in our early success.
