The Hop

We have selected Prima Donna (also called First Gold), a compact hop species that is ideal for cultivation in gardens and spacious pots. It typically reaches a height of 2 to 2.5 meters and can spread along trellises or walls with ease. Planting of fresh hop plants typically commences from mid to late February and extends until the end of March, with the timing dependent on weather conditions.
